Judy Cadenhead, who inspired the start of the Walton County Genealogy Society, found the photograph below in the collection of the Baker Block Museum and is wondering if this is the Darlington in northern Walton County. She has no information about the photo other than the notation on it.

Thanks to Sally Merrifield for getting us this answer:

This is our Darlington. It is either Moore's Store or Green's Store. There was a huge Turpentine Industry there until the early 40s. It disappeared and so did the business communities in Gaskin and Darlington.
